Greetings,

After a year and a half online, I decided that the Book of Light was in desperate need of updating both in design and content. Quarters Pagan Journal, our netzine, was undergoing a design and directional change at the same time and so I made the executive decision to incorporate Quarters articles into the Book of Light. I had no idea how big a project I was beginning!

The new design was created, in part, to make navigation through the chapters easier and to generally update the look. Seeking to address legibility, the font has been enlarged and increased line spacing should make reading a much more pleasant experience. Images have also been reduced to a minimum to speed load times. Updating the layout was also a great opportunity for me to sharpen my css skills and, to be honest, I’m surprised my monitor survived my tantrums.

Content has also been added to several chapters and a new chapter devoted to Deities, Myths and Heroes has been added as well. For a full list of the new additions and to find out what is new and coming to all the Sapphire Moon circle sites, visit New Moon Risings.

I feel that this update accomplishes what I set out to do but I would love to hear your thoughts. Feedback forms have been added to many pages, please do drop a note to let me know your opinions.
